Welders
Welder Applicant Requirements – Vander Contractors Group
✔️ Minimum 2+ years in industrial welding (oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy construction preferred).
✔️ AWS (American Welding Society) or equivalent welding certification required.
✔️ Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, along with blueprint and isometric reading.
✔️ Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
✔️ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and endure outdoor conditions.
✔️ Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
✔️ TWIC Card and valid driver’s license preferred.

Pipe Fitters
Pipefitter Applicant Requirements – Vander Contractors Group
✔️ Minimum 2+ years in industrial pipefitting (oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation preferred).
✔️ NCCER Pipefitter Certification preferred but not required.
✔️ Ability to cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems using various materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.).
✔️ Proficiency in isometric drawings, schematics, and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
✔️ Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
✔️ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
✔️ Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
✔️ TWIC Card and valid driver’s license preferred.
